The piano pieces on this CD provide an excellent survey of the piano works by Cassadó and include Zerka tango, Toujours and Adieu des Oiseaux au Printemps. Also on this CD is the song cycle Cansons dels Mesos (Songs of the Months) which was written in 1919 and is a setting of poems by Apeles Mestres. The poems look at the months and seasons as seen from the Catalan Mediterranean.
