About
This new St. Luke Passion from the Greek composer Calliope Tsouipaki is a dualistic masterpiece. She found her inspiration from the icon which features on the cover of the CD. Christ appears to have two faces, as does the music; at once severe and enigmatic and loving and tender or joyous and sad at the same time. East and West merge in this abridged version of the work.
