An enthusiastic welcome to this classic recording...admirably brought back to life by Tony Watts and Hilton Grove...The set preserves two outstanding interpretations, Gobbi's Boccanegra and Christoff's Fiesco...no collectors interested in great recordings of Verdi operas will want to miss this.
