About
Czerny and Onslow were both famous piano virtuosi in their time. Although their pianistic careers tended to stand in the way of their composing ambitions, both men nevertheless wrote dazzling works that were highly praised by their contemporaries. As might be expected, these are pieces of considerable technical difficulty. Göbel Trio Berlin play superbly.
