About
Dieter Klöcker plunged deep into the archives of the Prague National Museum in order to find these long forgotten wind sextets of Franciszek Lessel (1780-1838). On a trip to Vienna Franciszek made contact with Joseph Haydn, and received the best possible tuition from the composer, becoming the old man's favourite pupil. The music has survived only in handwritten copies of the individual parts yet that proved no hurdle for Consortium Classicum who play with all their expected style and musicality.
