Hector Parra was born in 1976 in Barcelona. He is Professor of Electro-Acoustic Composition at the Conservatorium of Zaragoza and composer in residence at the Conservatorium of the Barcelona Opera House. The excellent Kairos release includes extensive booklet notes by the composer.
