About

Badings is an important, independent voice in European music of the twentieth century – comparable, perhaps to Hindemith in Germany. His oeuvre offers fine examples of experimental new developments and techniques in quasi-classical scores. These symphonies encompass the period from 1932 to 1964 and demonstrate the great breadth and intense expressive power of this little known composer.
