This all-new recording by Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops features instantly recognizable and exciting music by many well known film composers, including Hans Zimmer’s ‘Jack Sparrow’ music from Pirates of the Caribbean, and music from the sequel The Curse of the Black Pearl - both movies unforgettable thanks to Johnny Depp’s performance as Jack Sparrow.

The selection also includes music by Korngold who composed for Errol Flynn’s first starring role as Captain Blood, Franz Waxman’s Oscar winning score for A Place in the Sun (1951), John Debney for the 1995 film Cutthroat Island starring Geena Davis, and the music of Italian-Spanish composer Luigi Boccherini that was used for Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World which in 2003 starred Russell Crowe as Admiral Jack Aubrey.
