This collection of popular Mozart tenor arias is something of a rarity because Mozart is a composer who doesn't figure a great deal in the extensive body of work that Domingo has committed to record.

Perhaps the most versatile of all living tenors, Domingo has to date sung nearly 100 roles on stage, ranging from Mozart to Ginastera. His main repertoire, however, is Italian (Otello, Il Trovatore, Don Carlo), French (Faust, Werther, Don José in Carmen, Samson in Samson et Dalila), and German (Lohengrin, Parsifal, and Siegmund in Die Walküre).
