Awards and reviews

March 2007

the best complete version of Grieg’s theatre music… Tourniaire has intuited and delivered a true Grieg style from his orchestra, alert, light, swift but not afraid to punch home the ironies and the intentionally noisy stage effect climaxes

May 2005

the purity, innocence and almost magical charm of Inger Dam-Jensen is something not to be missed. On top of that there is a finesse and delicacy about the Suisse Romande Orchestra under Guillaume Tourniaire which
makes this new recording altogether more rewarding…this is a truly outstanding Peer Gynt.

12 January 2007

you'd be hard pressed to find a better tribute than this new recording of his most popular work…Funny, exhilarating and at times also unbearably sad, it's a remarkable achievement and very highly recommended.
