The excellent George Hanson and his Wuppertalians deal... soulfully and flexibly with the sea-swells and the comfortable tunes that bob along on top... Karl Müller-Berghaus's arrangement of the First Russian Serenade provides a dash of native Slavic soul after the official fun and games of the Triumphal Overture.
