Until now all the credit for this repertoire was attributed to the Jesuits; but now we discover that 27 years after the Order was expelled from the country, the Canichana and Moxos Indians of what is now Bolivia sent their Spanish sovereigns a collection of musical compositions that here receive their world premiere recording. Now everything becomes clear!
